The Basics of Bingo

A bingo card has 24 numbers and five columns with the letters B-I-N-G-O. There is one free space per card. This space is automatically given to every player. Numbers in bingo games can range from 01-75. These numbers are arranged into columns beneath the letters. Therefore numbers are referred to buy a number and a letter, such as B16.

Bingo The Game - One person calls out numbers such as B16 and the players search that card for their number. There is a large cage that rotates that has small balls inside with the printed numbers on them. The person who is calling numbers will select a ball from the cage and announce the number to the players. For example if the number is B16 a player would look down the column of numbers under the letter B for the number 16. If they have the number they would mark it with a marker, pull a shudder over the number, or place a chip on the number according to type of card they are using. When playing online the computer may automatically mark numbers for a player. This process is continued until someone says Bingo. Then the person?s card is checked to see if indeed the person has won.

Winning at Online Bingo - There are different ways of winning at bingo. The most common is that a person has won when they have covered a complete line of numbers in any direction. However, there are other forms of bingo such as cover all games. In these games a person must cover every number on their card to win. Some games also require player to cover the four corners of a card or form the letter T.

Once one understands these rules Bingo is simply a game of luck. Indeed the lottery, the most common game of luck, got its name from bingo which used to be called lotto. So gather one?s luckiest possessions and head to the bingo hall. Good Luck!
